1960's Fine British School Drawing Pencil Set with 2 Tiered Wooden Pencil Box

Crown Products Vintage Drawing Pencil Set with 2 Tiered Slat Lacquered Hardwood Pencil Box, Made in England in the early 1960’s, near mint condition antique with original drawing pencils and eraser. Dimensions: 10” long, 2” wide, 1 5/8” tall. Items inside: “VENUS PENCIL ERASER made in England No. 72,” “Wolff’s BLACK PRINCE Made in Great Britain” Charcoal Pencil, “BBB-WOLFF’S CARBON DRAWING PENCIL MADE IN GT. BRITAIN,” “STREAMLINE HB VENUS PENCIL CO. LTD” pencil, then 2 “F. Chambers. ‘SCINTILLA’ MADE IN ENGLAND” pencils in the top chamber. Outer wood is lacquered. Inner wood is untreated, as is the bottom. Weighs 12 ounces with all the pencils and the eraser inside. Label on the side says, “ CROWN PRODUCTS FULHAM SW6 BRITISH MADE” with a crown in the middle, label is gold, red, and black (Crown is Red and Gold). This would be a basic drawing set for a child or aspiring drawing/sketching student or person. Intriguing Midcentury Modern design with its multi-level utilitarianism. Rare.
