The Alps Superior Performance Liner HD (High Density) is available in two different gel formulations, HD Gel and Grip Gel. Alps formulated this prosthetic liner with HD Gel to meet the needs of weekend warriors, those transitioning from a silicone (vs. gel) liners, and anyone with excessive redundant skin along the bottom of their limbs.
Alps' HD Gel is formulated to provide extra firmness for added control and stability. The high density nature of HD Gel helps to protect your limb by reducing any friction and shear stresses experienced within your prosthetic socket. The Superior Performance Liner's premium seamless knit fabric limits pistoning and vertical stretch, providing a more secure fit when in combination with HD Gel's unwillingness to overly stretch vertically.
