Transformed a Bailey hat into one seen on MGM’s “Billy the Kid” series. Hat has some distressing to give it that Lincoln , NM Regulator seen some things feeling. Ready to hit the gambling tables.
Hat has the following modifications:
• Brim trimmed down to 3.5” w/ a ½ pencil curl
• Reshaped to a teardrop style
• Added edge binding
• New calf leather sweat band
• Original Bailey Hat
• New hat custom hat bands. 1.5” grosgrain ribbon.
• Hat has been distressed. See pics.
• Added stiffener to the hat since it is pure wool so it will keep its shape a long time.
Came across a replica hat made by the prop maker of the show and were asking almost $700 for it.
