Lionel 6-19831 3530 GM Operating Generator Car w/Utility Pole and Searchlight

Here is a Lionel 19831 Operating Generator Car Set from 1997 O-Gauge. This is a reissue of the Postwar Era 3530 generator car. You turn it on by opening one of the doors which closes a switch to allow current from the rails to activate a light and fan inside the car to simulate the noise the generator would make in a real car like this.

Includes utility pole, mobile searchlight, die-cast trucks, metal wheels and axles, and magnetic couplers in original box with original operating instructions.

You can display this on an isolated section of track to operate the mobile search light in addition to the light dispersion unit inside the car and fan to simulate a running generator car powering the light or if you prefer to run the car you can still operate the dispersion light within it and the fan for generator simulated action, all operated simply by opening or closing the door.
