The Sony HVR-M15U is an HDV format VTR that can play back both NTSC/PAL signals. The VRT plays Sony's 1080i HDV as well as DV and DVCAM formats. Plays MiniDV tapes or the larger standard size cassettes and has switchable playback between: HDV 1080i/DVCAM/DV SP and 60i/50i modes (NTSC and PAL).
