Vintage Silvertone Model 16 AM Radio, circa 1951; repaired and restored to function. Ready for another 50 years of service! Perfect for your mid-century modern aesthetic. Works very well.
Unit was a wreck-repaired and restored including custom modifications: speaker replaced with a JVC "boom" speaker improving sound qualiuty, volume control replaced, and power switch moved to the rear of the cabinet, Original painted Bakelite cabinet re-painted with similar paint color to original (see bottom). Back cover remanufactured. Made electrically safe with 3-wire cord, 1-amp fuse (under chassis), and caps and resistors replaced. Includes copy of schematic and parts list.
